About Chinderera Eco-Lodge

This is a boutique Eco-lodge, situated 10km from the Mozambique border, on the edge of the world heritage site, Isimangaliso wetland park. Nestled into the coastal forest, this private sanctuary awaits. Turtle laying and hatching, kayaking, snorkeling, boat tours and nature trails are a few of the experiences for you to enjoy.Every unit is private and unique, allowing you to experience the environment. From indoor-outdoor bathrooms and spacious interiors, the Eco-units provide the perfect base from which to explore all the area has to offer.Chinderera boasts an entertainment area, coffee lounge where we offer a range of African blend coffees and restaurant where you can enjoy our unique Afro-fusion menu. Our dishes hail from around the continent of Africa and were enjoyed by guests at our well-known Tastes of Africa restaurant outside Durban. Sip on a cocktail with an African twist, while relaxing round a lovely open fire and listening to our large collection of African music. If you are a star buff we rate three on the Bortel scale of dark skies.
