Room very comfortable but would have been nice if owner communicated more freely i.e. we were not informed that the restaurant bragged about only opens Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Friendly service from Ian and Elizé and all staff. Great food. If invited to visit the vulture view point don't miss it. Best close-up rail switch-back viewing on the farm

We stopped over in this little town of Lady Grey on route to Port Alfred. Nestled at the foothills of the Lesotho mountains, it is a very picturesque little town. Not much to do, even though we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, however our host was more than happy to make us a delicious dinner and allow us access to her bar, and to watch the rugby we just had to walk over the road to the local pub where they were just as hospitable :) The guesthouse is under construction, however are rooms were more than comfortable and a very enjoyable evening was spent there.
