We loved our stay and enjoyed everything except seeiing that there is no cleaning service to supply at least the dishcloths etc to do washing up and fire place cleaning tools and maybe even placemats for the dining table. Great stay overall!!

The stay at Arrarat was very relaxing. The view, clean air and silence was wonderful. The chalet was fairly well equipped.Enough firewood kept the fireplace going from early in the afternoons. Lack of some basics however did create some frustration, like no rubbish bin bags, drying cloths and something to clean the floors and the fireplace. A trip to a local shop had to be made. Trouble with the Dstv was attended to and we could watch Dstv after 3 days. The golf course was very enjoyable.

The house is clean and well maintained. Be sure to take an extra heater in winter.

A gorgeous view and a lovely house. I enjoyed the privacy and the safety. I would recommend this to a family with kids as not many of the other lodges is kids friendly.
