About The Loerie Hide
This haven of tranquility lies in the heart of the prestigious, leafy suburb of Bonnie Doon in East London, just 10 minutes’ drive from the centre of the city and only five minutes from the beach.
We have two lovely thatched cottages at the bottom of our garden, containing three units decorated in distinctly different styles. There is the Rondavel containing the Safari Room with its distinctly African décor, as pictured in the Portfolio Bed and Breakfast Collection, and the Colonial Room, decorated in colonial style with an old fashioned ball and claw bath to relax.
At the other end of the pool is the original Rondavel, also with an African feel to the décor. The Hadedah Suite is a self-catering unit which has a small kitchenette and a sleeper couch, ideally suited to a small family. Our latest addition is a luxury New Colonial Room that has a king-size bed and a bath big enough for two.
All our rooms are en-suite with either a shower or a bath and shower. They also all have satellite TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities, fridges with refreshments, irons, and fans and/or heaters. All rooms have private entrances and their own patios or decks.
