About 278 On Main

278 On Main offers luxury accommodation in the heart of the beautiful Free State village of Clarens. Accommodation is offered in four double bedrooms, all en-suite with a bath and shower, and one two-bedroom unit which can be self-catering or B&B.

All linen is 100% cotton percale, beds have electric blankets, and there are heaters in all the rooms. Other facilities include tea and coffee trays and TVs. Breakfast is available in our on-site restaurant "278", served all day from 7.30 am. The restaurant is also open every evening for the greatest "comfort food".

                                  I can only compare to what other Guesthouses offered for the same price and unfortunately based on the luxury of the room, positioned without any view and quality of breakfast I cannot recommend it.

                                   We had a wonderful stay! Will definitely book again! Sue and her team were very friendly both on arrival and departure. The room was well appointed, well qualified as luxury accommodation. The location was perfect - close enough to part of the vibe but just outside of the hustle and bustle of the typical daytime and nightlife of Clarens.
