It offers guests a choice of staying in one of the fully equipped Chalets, Park Homes, Rondavels or Campsites. Each Chalet is furnished with a double bed, two single beds and has a private bathroom with a shower. The kitchens are fully equipped with stoves, ovens, microwaves, fridges, tea and coffee facilities and TVs. Three of the Chalets also have lounge areas where guests can relax. The Park Homes are furnished with double beds and have fully equipped kitchens and private bathrooms, while the Rondavels are furnished with single beds and also have private bathrooms, but there are no kitchens. For the campers, there is a choice of 40 sites, 20 of which offer electrical points. The Campsites share the use of an ablution block which has showers and baths. The caravan park offers a variety of entertainment such as trampolines, a swimming pool, tennis courts and a bowling green. A coffee shop and a nursery are also located on the premises and the resort is available for weddings, conferences and other private functions. As the property is located next to a river, it is ideal for canoeing and fishing. Some of the most picturesque hiking trails can be found at Cathkin Park, Cathedral Peak, Champagne Castle, Oliviershoek and Royal National Park Mount Aux Sources. There is a troop of 28 baboons who roam close by but not too close for comfort. This is a true breakaway leaving you with a complete sound of silence. Family owned by The Van Rensburg family who have been in the area for over 35 years. Craig Van Rensburg purchased the farm in July 2012, the farm needed some tender love and care. In the past four years major renovations and rebuilding has been completed to upgrade the farm to a higher standard. Three cottages have been completed the Hotel is up and running and the restaurant is open business as well. Further renovations and constant upgrades are in place. The tranquil blue of the Sterkfontein Dam; a fishing and water-sports paradise; lies behind us. Ahead of us we enjoy an expansive view of the Northern Drakensberg above the clouds. At 2286 m above sea level, the lodge is the highest in the Northern Drakensberg. The lodge offers a number of comfortable bungalows and chalets. All bedding and towels are provided, and heaters are available as evenings on the mountain can get chilly. The bungalows are circular buildings with three units per building. Each unit comprises two bedrooms which share a bathroom and offer a stunning view. A central restaurant provides breakfast, and lunch and dinner are offered on an á la carte basis. The pub is open to all guests, and there are a number of activities to be enjoyed in the area including hiking, mountain climbing and trout fishing. This area is home to the threatened bearded vulture, for the birdwatchers to enjoy.

The farm is situated off the R74, between Bergville and Winterton which are farming villages that offer basic shopping needs. Come and sample the peace of paradise in the total seclusion of your own exclusive bush camp. Accommodation comprises a self-catering unit sleeping up to eight guests. The unit contains two separate bedrooms, each sleeping four guests. The sleeping arrangements are loft-style, with two guests downstairs and two guests upstairs. Bathroom facilities include an ablution block with two toilets and a shower. The water is heated by gas and we have a solar lighting system. Features include a lapa with a deck overlooking the river, which also serves as a kitchen and social area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove as well as a gas fridge with deep freeze space. In addition, there is also an indoor barbecue as well as an outdoor barbecue area for relaxed entertaining. Please note the minimum rate for any party of four persons or less for one night is R1000.
