Marloth Park is a unique bushveld holiday town and nature conservancy bordering the Kruger National Park. Here people and wildlife coexist peacefully on the banks of the Crocodile River. It’s an amazing place for kids to enjoy nature, with opportunities to feed zebra, get close to giraffe or watch bush babies come out at night. Giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, kudu, nyala, impala, ostrich and other wildlife wander freely between the lodges and residences. Microlight flips above the Crocodile River offer amazing opportunities to spot elephant, hippo, crocodile and giraffe from the air. The town itself is blissfully uncommercial, with little more than a petrol station and a few shops providing essentials. Just 14 km from the Crocodile Bridge entrance to the Kruger National Park, most visitors use it as a base to explore Kruger with a guided walking safari or 4x4 tour. Marloth Park is also a convenient stopover to Swaziland and Mozambique. It’s only a one-hour drive to the gorgeous subtropical beaches of Mozambique and a 45-minute drive to Swaziland.

Good stay in Marloth
We were fortunate enough to spend a couple of days in Marloth Park over the long week-end. We were pleasantly surprised by the added shopping area since we were there 5 years ago. It is a pitty that people are allowed to sit next to Olifants road, making a mess and leave it lying on the ground when they leave. This mess is making the park looks quite bad in those spots.

We saw warthog from our house and zebra and giraffe on the way to the shops!Only 20 minutes drive from Kruger Crocodile Bridge Gate. Marloth Park Conservancy
Our experience of Marloth Park.Clean park. Friendly services all round. The "tame" animals walking around the homes, are very special!! Easy to get into Kruger National Park. Looking out over the Crocodile River, into the KNP, is a wonderful experience. Road noisy. Lots of pedestrians. You do worry about safety. Jo Jacobs

Well maintained
We love Marloth Park and the municipality are very helpful. Every visit we have seen 4 of the big 5 from the fence bordering Kruger. We never had a good experience with Oasis as the new management are not welcoming at all ( rude and no service). We recommend the shack, absolutely amazing ( food and service). 5 stars thanks to the Shack!

Marloth Park
I love Marloth Park, but crime was an issue the entire 9 days we spent there. Also no maintenance on the fence between Marloth and Kruger; there are huge holes that a Buffalo can fit through. But I will be back.

Marloth Park Conservancy
We have been 3 times to Marloth Park Conservancy. It is a lovely place to unwind and be away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I love the peace and bush noises at night. Exceptional place to be able to release tension. Hopefully it will not become too commercialized and be ruined.

One with Nature
We entered Marloth Park and the first animal we saw was a giraffe. The wildlife is incredible and so close up. It was beautiful and clean. What an experience; we loved it.

Wonderful place to stay
We love staying in Marloth Park, and have been here five times now, it's a long trip from the UK but it puts everything you want for a great safari holiday right on your doorstep, and the numbers of animals that actually turn up in the gardens will maze you. It's just 15 minutes by car into crocodile bridge gate of Kruger Park, and the park itself has every facility you need for a great holiday.

Little piece of paradise
We visit Marloth Park regularly and it never ceases to deliver on fun, relaxation and a true African experience. The houses all have privacy, the wildlife is amazing and the community is friendly. It is absolutely beautiful and really a little piece of African paradise.

Marloth Park is lovely, but the litter lying around is disgusting. Surely when the rubbish is collected from each house the collectors could pick up along their way? This is not only harmful to the animals but it also looks very unappealing. Besides the rubbish it is really lovely.

Great family bush getaway
Marloth Park is a great place to get away and enjoy peace in the bush, but not be confined to your car - our kids lived riding their mountain bikes everywhere, and were so excited to interact with the zebra, warthogs, and nag-aapies, and spotting the giraffe, kudu and wildebeest. We sat outside every evening and heard lion and hyena, and we took our car around the park at night to look through the fence into the Kruger. Would advise a high clearance vehicle, and preferably a 4x4 to get the best out of the park - some roads are fine, but those closest to the river are really bad - we have a...
