Kurumans disappointing demise
We visited Kuruman in 2001, 2006 and again this year in 2013. What a disappointment to see how run down the beautiful Eye of Kuruman is, weeds growing out of the paving, litter floating in the water, toilets a total disgrace - flush handle broken off, filthy and no toilet paper.Walking and driving on the N14 through Kuruman is a nightmare with people reversing out of parking spaces in front of you and stopping randomly in the road. Kuruman is suitable for people who like to escape the city life once in a while and visit a quite rural area where everyone is friendly and there are nice attractions. I believe it caters for people of all age groups, for youth, there are clubs to visit, for elderly folks there are nice restaurants to eat and places to explore there. ~~ Thabang
