Isabella's is an elegant 24 seater restaurant situated in 17 on Beeton the Boutique Guest House in Ladybrand in the Eastern Free State. Isabella's is owned and managed by Kaye Durant who is also a Qualified Chef and has won several Culinary Gold Awards and has worked with a number of famous chefs.
Her cooking style is based on using local ingredients, where applicable, in simple but sumptuous dishes, with a French flair. Some favourites on Isabella's night time menu are the Mussel Pot, Calamari Salad, Trout Gravlax, Fillet of Lesotho Trout, Stuffed Chicken Breast, Stuffed Calamari Tubes and several meat dishes. Favourite deserts are baked Cheese Cake and traditional Crème Brulee. The cheese used in a variety of dishes and sauces is cultured locally. Isabella's menu changes frequently with new dishes and seasonally. Old favourites still retain pride of place.
