    Doringbaai
Fryers Cove is fantastic and the food is really good. Service is good and staff are friendly. The beach is very small and full of seaweed so is not pleasant at all. To enjoy a beach a trip down to Strandfontein is recommended. When I requested from the owner of Dien Anker about restaurants in Doringbaai he told me about Fryers Cove and The Cabin. Unfortunately he did not tell us about the little jewel called Seespense where the service is great and the food very good. I am glad we found the place. Photography opportunities abound and the sunsets are amazing.

    A photographer's paradise!
We recently had a brief one night stay over in Doringbaai. What a delightful place! A walk down into the fishing harbour, revealed a delightful winery, the Fryer's Cove, with an interesting, background story to tell. Do go and sample their delicious, award winning wines. We also had an exceptional meal of mussels and calamari that evening at the Seespens Restaurant with Charney. Her restaurant has a wonderful collection of nautical things. Amazing photographic opportunities abound with the changing light and moods of this delightful little seaside village.

    Total Relaxation
Doringbaai is still one of those laid back small towns where development has not disturbed the area and one can still relax in peace. Take a walk along the seaside or cliffs on lookouts for Whales, sit on the jetty and taste wine at the winery "Fryer's Cove" , relax on your patio with a reading book or watch the little boats leave and return each day with their catch of the day, come evening take photo's of the beautiful and colourful West Coast sunsets where the sun goes down over the sea and the sky bursts into a rainbow of colour.

    Ons kuier in Doringbaai
Doringbaai was vir ons 'n verrassing!

    Lovely little West Coast town
Doringbaai is a beautiful and typical West Coast town with friendly people and a winery on the sea that is worth a visit. The kids enjoyed picking up shells on the beach.
