Directions to Aguia Negra

The recommended route is via Nelspruit / Komatipoort, and then through the border control post:

- From the border to Maputo is about 90 km;
- Entering Maputo suburbs, keep an eye out for Shoprite on your left;
- At the T-Junction, turn left onto a dual-carriage toll road;
- Pass through the toll, keep a lookout for the Xai-Xai slipway, where you will turn left down to the Traffic Lights. - Turn left on to the EN1 North towards Xai-Xai.
- You pass through Xai-Xai ( 230 km), then onto Maxixe ( 220 km);
- About 250 km north of Maxixe you turn right to Vilanculos;
- This turn off is well sign posted and the road is tarred all the way from Maputo;
- From this turn off it is about 20 km's to Vilanculos'
- Once into Vilanculos you drive through until you get to a T-Junction with BCI bank in front, Turn left and head north until you reach BIM Bank;
- Turn Left just before BIM Bank, it is about 10 minutes (2 km) from this point to the lodge.
