Port Nolloth

A bit sleepy when not in season with a lot of places not having crayfish or fresh fish (which was a big attraction to the area).

A man in Clanwilliam, after being informed we were heading to Port Nolloth, said it is a funny town. We think it is a diamond on the coast, but like every diamond it has to be polished. The boardwalk and the little waterfront is great. We never want the weather to change. The dust is a bit disappointing but we enjoyed our stay.

It is rather quite, relaxing and tranquil. However, services are limited and the Spar shop very expensive. The drive from Port Nolloth to Alexander Bay and Oranjemeund is interesting. However, it is not a place we will visit again soon.

Perfect destination for a getaway from everything and everyone. Romantic sunsets and long walks on the beach is a must. You won't be disappointed.
