All Comments for Gibela Getaway

Location was lovely. Staff friendly though not particularly helpful. No wifi available. Fridge not working properly, insufficient crockery. Otherwise very nice and surroundings beautiful.

quiet place, good beds hospitality is a bit poor one of the houses was very basic. kitchen furniture was not very clean (long time not used)

Nice place to stay but the road to Gibela not good at all They say that towels are replaced every two days not done Cutlery and crockery not counted and cups plates chipped and not up to standard Photos on website I found to be misleading

This place has stunning views, the setup was great too. Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. The only thing was the 4.2km dirt road. Luckily we were in a vehicle and not on our motorcycles otherwise we would of not been able to make that downhills on a dirt road.

Very neat and got everything you need.

The rooms were not prepared, cleaned and the was spiders and dust in the rooms. We ended up using the other room because the one we payed for was dirty. Dstv TV remotes were not working. After all the place is nice just needs tlc and they must provide clients with tea and coffee at least.

We had a most pleasant stay. The setting is amazing, so peaceful and quiet - very relaxing! It was wonderful to hear the birds. The dirt road was manageable. All the staff were welcoming, helpful and very friendly. Thank you!

Great for a group Getaway. The gravel road on the way to the lodge is a bit of a challenge. Overall a satisfactory stay. The lodge may look into having wifi.

I would like to thank you for creating such a wonderful peaceful place for us to visit. When we arrived we instantly felt a refreshing calm. The pool was our favourite and members of our family who have never swam before, even got in and learnt how.



The rooms were well looked after and we all had a comfortable relaxing sleep. Being greeted by such beautiful Dalmatians was a pleasure they are so friendly.

If I had a bigger vehicle I would definitely come back here again and again.

  

Well suited for those who enjoy to be surrounded by nature. I enjoyed my stay to the fullest.

The place is fine and fit for the price. I just feel that the road is not suitable for small cars and guests must be warned to use off roads when coming there. Otherwise a good 'getaway' setup to unwind.

i think the place must be renovated and a new manager that is proffesional is needed for the place. i will never advise anyone to use that place.

I was very dissapointed in Gibela getaway, we knew about the road but they did not even know we we coming. Nothing was ready and we only booked in after half past one. The photo's on the internet must be very old because the place is very rundowm. The room was not up to standard not even a chair to sit on in the room. Please do not only place the good comments also place the bad comments so that customers who uses Safarinow knows. Although it is a one star we expected more. The surrouding area is very beautiful but the place not up to standard for Safarinow.

I dont really have an opinion about the accomodation but only the 5 km long gravel road that was in a condition that we could hardly get down to the house. Just dont book this when you are not coming with a jeep and like a little ofroad drive!

The accomodation is not up to standard. The bed havent got the same linen the cubords has no doors the rooms has no doors the window handles are broken the swimming pool is not clean the whole place is poorly maintained. The gravel road leading to the farm is very very bad. If this is the type of accomodation safari is supporting I will not make use of safari again I am even thinking of removing my own advertisments from safari's web site.

We enjoy our stay with you, just one segestion is the road, that is fine only for a bakkie or 4X4.

My experience at Gibela Getaway was tremendous, I had too much rest. Waking up every morning smelling the nature. Its such a beautiful place to relax. Housekeeping was extremely good.

Very nice place. Difficult to reach because the road. All the other things are ok.

Accommodation very nice and clean. The cleaning lady very friendly and helpful. Very remote with not much to do.

Our stay at Gibela was great and the facilities perfect for our needs. Very friendly staff and host who accommodated our ever-expanding group with a smile! Will definitely return when in Swaziland again.
