We had a really comfortable stay at Eden River Lodge. The host is very friendly and easy going and the manager was exceptionally helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was very big and comfortable and the view is amazing. I would highly recommend to stay here for few days if you wanting to explore the area.

Aubrey Was Excellent Manager. Clean and Safe .Good Accomodation. Just be carefull on driveway with low sedans all coastal driveways are steep so far. Brilliant aircon and clean. Will be back in Winter.

What a beautiful place! Not only does the house look onto a river and trees, it's interior is just as picturesque. But, what makes Eden such a wonderful place to stay at, are the hosts Sharon and Tony's warmth and generosity. They immediately make you feel part of a new family.

I was there over Christmas 2016, by myself and they made me feel like I have was having Christmas with my family. Even when I was ill, they were watching over me and went out of their way to cheer me up.

And the food was excellent! I have traveled all over the world and can say with certainty, Eden River Lodge, surpasses some of the supposedly top places I have stayed at all over.

I loved the environment, the rooms was good, comfortable and equipped with what we needed. The staff was also friendly and I had a good experience while I was there.

We thoroughly enjoyed the two nights spent at Eden River Lodge. Everything from the room to the breakfast and the beautiful setting on the river was perfect.
A special thanks to Sharon and Anthony for their hospitality on old year's eve - what great hosts! It was great spending time with them and other guests on the patio.
We will definitely be back in the future!

Accommodation was everything you see on Internet. Sharon and Tony treat you like family. They are hands on owners. Workers, Aubrey and his wife treated us like eggs. We enjoyed our stay.

Great! Location couldnt be better. Aubrey, the manager, nothing is too much trouble. Lovely breakfasts on the patio, notwithstanding the poor weather, very well sheltered. Highly recommended.

super clean, attention to detail, everything taken care of, friendly staff, lovely view of the river from room 2. non-smoking policy not an issue when provided with a huge private balcony. definitely worth another visit.

A fantastic stay at a beautiful lodge. Everything was great - from the view to the breakfasts on the patio. Peaceful and tranquility were found in abundance.

Stayed in a modern and very comfortable suite, with an amazing view over the river. Had breakfast outside on the patio watching Vervet monkeys. Really recommended if you're in that part of the world.

Good facility with good staff

We booked a last minute stay in December 2013 and stayed for 6 nights. I have to say Eden River lodge is one of the best guest houses I have stayed in. Toni and Sharon are both very welcoming and hospitable. Aubrey their manager/chef is also excellent.
The public rooms and bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard. The food was great too. The patio/pool/garden a delight overlooking the river and wildlife.
I would certainly recommend it very highly.

Spent 2 nights after a 3 day cycle event. The lodge is very comfortable with lots of space and a relaxing atmosphere. We had stayed previously and liked it a lot, hence the reason we booked again. The new owners are very welcoming and have made it even better. Breakfast is a treat and we received a travel breakfast/lunch pack on our very early day of departure.

We stayed at Eden Lodge for 1 night after a gruelling 9 day joBerg2c Mountain Bike race. The lodge is truly a \little eden\" in every respect. Charming

What a wonderful, warm and friendly place to stay. Tony, Sharon and Aubrey make you feel as if Eden River Lodge is your home. The accommodation and amenities were superb. The aircon in the bedrooms is a lifesaver with the Natal humidity and the king size beds are super comfy. I would highly recommend Eden River Lodge!

We had to get from town to the B&B and did not have transport so we phoned the B&B and they were happy to come and fetch us for free although we were willing to pay. Coming there, we were welcomed and shown to a beautiful room, very modern and tastefully decorated. We were entertained by wild vervet monkeys crossing the premises and enjoyed the sound of the sea and the view over the river. The quiet night ensured a peaceful rest and the morning was breathtaking. The breakfast overlooking the pool and river was complimented by the cry of a fish eagle in the distance. We were treated in a very friendly manner and had an excellent stay. Thank you.
