Honestly the entire experiencce was great. Staff are super on it and friendly, sanitation for covid was excellent and I've decided I need to buy a new bed because the one I slept on at the hotel was so comfy I didn't know what I was missing out on! Only stayed one night but will definitely be back.

A cosy, comfortable, clean hotel with staff that can't do enough for you to make your stay a memorable experience. Sounds too good to be true? It's not. I had the misfortune to suffer a fall while on holiday, and the staff at City Lodge went 'the extra mile' for me in every way. I cannot thank them enough. (Need I add its my 2nd stay at this lovely hideaway, and hopefully, not my last).

It was exactly what we needed after a long drive from Jo'burg. Very clean and modern facilities. The beds were amazing, had a great night's sleep. the pool was also great for cooling off.

When the guy at reception eventually looked up from his paperwork he told my wife to get our own trolly. He showed no willingness to assist with the disabled customer. The girl who took over from him was streets better which shows you what only one bad apple can do to a place's reputation. The room was very comfortable and clean and the rest of our stay went very well. Overall the place is very well groomed and wheelchair friendly.
