It all started badly. The picture on Safarinow website is not the place we were at. We got wrong address from Safarinow website. We found some old man there. We phoned Ashley, she told us she moved. She gave us the direction to the "new" place. When we got there, the place is on the main road. The place doesn't look outside. Well, we met Ashley. She is a very friendly lady. We got into the apartment. It was not what I expected from what I saw outside. The rooms are spacious and clean. Unlike other places I've been, the DSTV had many channels to choose from, impressive!. It was just ok. Not bad.

We have enjoyed staying at Ashley guesthouse and they were so friendly nice hospitality. The house is perfect for the family save and clean. close to the shops and public transport if needed . Regards Tumi

Although the apartements look great when one gets in, surprised to find out that plumbing is not well maintained. Were also missing a proper reception, we have not seen the landlord during our stay. Too impersonal for a "Guest House". The requested breakfast was managed professionally and timely, much appreciated.

Our group of friends stayed at Ashley Guesthouse in Feb 2012. It was a fabulous stay, the breakfast was delicious.

We visited Durban for the Indaba tourism show and had a great stay at Ashley Guesthouse. The accommodation is conveniently located at only 10 minutes from the ICC and in a peaceful neighbourhood. The apartments are comfortable and offer good value for money. Also the owner of the guesthouse is very friendly and makes sure that you will enjoy your stay.

The guesthouse was in tip top shape. Clean, tidy and a great place to stay in for a trip to Durban. Would greatly recommend it.

I enjoyed my stay very much, the environment was very relaxing after spending a day of sightseeing and being in a lot of crowds at the beach. It was like going to a music festival and then coming to the quiet of your own home. The host was also very hospitable and helpful, Thank you very much!
