I do travel a lot and stay at a lot of places, but I must say, Majeka House was one of the best places I’ve ever been to. I can really not say anything bad about the place. I was really impressed.
Real South African hospitality.

Good friendly service.Very good value for money and excellent food at restaurant. In short it is a warm good value for money spa, with an exceptional decor mixed with the natural beauty of the Cape.

We had a very nice 3 night stay at the Majeka - Great Hotel with lovely pools, and good facilities. Very good restaurant and better than expected menu and food.
The location however is a drive into the town, which is a not good in the evening when visiting other places to eat. Staffing is also a bit on the lean side - so if no one is about you have to go and find someone to get drink by the pool. We were however given a late check out at no extra cost a big bonus if you are flying back to the UK on a night flight.
Overall a great Hotel with good facilities and food - location is OK as long as you don't mind using your car. Slightly more proactive staff would match the 5 star rating.

Every thing was in tip top condition as I believe it has just had a revamp!!!!
What was so great was we were welcomed warmly by both Lloyd & Karine and introduced to the whole place and all the superb facilities .
After this at no stage did we feel that our privacy was invaded.
THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY !!!
One other reason is that it is quiet and well away from traffic noise.
