Apartment is very spacious and neat with ocean view in 2 bedrooms. Absolutely enjoyed the privacy and convenient location of the unit. Will definitely go back.

The place is neat and spacious, excellent sea view. Great for a weekend stay. There's just a few things that need attention: the lounge set is very hard and uncomfortable, the hob in the kitchen needs attention or replacement. Otherwise everything else is fine. We had a lovely stay.

No one to receive you when you get there. Room was not ready, cleaner was still busy. Bathroom lights were not working (BOTH). An extension cord with light was left for us to use. Sheri was informed. Promise to sort the lights.The extension cord posed a risk. I had to hand over cash to the maid, which I did not feel safe and which I thought was unprofessional. One bathroom was fixed a few days into our stay, the other as not. The fridge was leaking, we had to mop the floor several times. The were no satellite tv just the basic stations. However the view from the apartment was awesome. I would return to Lazy Lizard if the above is taken care.

Good value - only complaint is that the lights in one bedroom and both the bathrooms did not work for our stay of 5 days there. We reported it immediately but despite promises nothing happened.

An excellent week away from home to home. All amenities very close and Gateway Shopping mall 10 minutes away for a shopping experience and movie houses. If you gamble responsibly Sabaya is a 5 to 10 minute drive. Above all weather is great all year around - no serious warm clothes needed - a jersey or jacket will be useful but not between Nov to Feb. Above all the beach is 2 minutes from room into water. Morning sunrise just great for an early morning breakfast on the patio. If you love a walk on the beach or the walkways no better place than 21 Lazy Lizard. My wife and I enjoyed our week long break - last week April 2014. Ms Pam an excellent host on arrival and there for your departure.

The view was spectacular, the balcony was a big wow. I will definitely go back again. Sheri was very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Lizzard tremendously. The reception was outstanding - Sheri met us at the unit and surprised us with champs and chocolates. I want to thank her for the friendly manner in which she assisted us at all times. We will definitely come and stay at Lazy Lizzard 21 in future. It is a very spacious , clean apartment. I however would like to mention only a few things that needs attention : 1. The couches in the lounge are very uncomfortable. 2. There are no big roasting pan in the kitchen - the only item on which I could prepare food in the oven were the oven baking tray which is extremely shallow. 3. Bigger wine glasses please ...!!!! In such a magnificent apartment with such an awesome view one would like to pour a big glass of wine and relax on the patio !!!! 4. A mirror and table at a plug where ladies can do their hair in the back room and main bedroom please. My sincere thanks also to Prudence who maintained a clean fresh apartment at all times. We look forward to another stay there in future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here - despite the weather. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Sheri could not have been more friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and the sea views from the large patio are stunning. We will definitely return.

More than comfortable for a 3 night stay. Well appointed. Great views. Plumbing in need of some attention. Very long wait for hot water to come through and basin in main en suite bathroom blocked.

Than you very much for the prompt service. Our check-in and check out was an effortless process with Sheri. The spacious unit was an absolute pleasure, especially with the kids. The location was an absolute spoil, we never had to drive, everything we needed was walking distance. Our domestic worker - Patience was always friendly and did her work extremely well. What a fantastic week! Great location with wonderful views. The flat was very spacious and comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues and communication problems with Prudence, the housekeeper. All-in-all, the flat was great.

Spacious apartment but the upkeep needs attention: fridge/freezer is leaking, washing machine is leaking and most of the door hinges and door handles are loose or broken. So much potential, but the owners need to spend some money to get things fixed and working.

View excellent. Parking not practical for SUV. Couch needs to be replaced, stuck together with tape. When we were there the lifts and front gate broken. No aircon. Not star rated so give it a 2 star. It has so much potential if a bit of money was spent and not filled with left over furniture and fittings.

I would really recommend the place, clean neat and well organized. The owners take good care of their visitors. Will go back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay. It was serviced daily by Prudence, she was great, lots of space for the family, and beautiful sea views. Very convenient to walk onto the beach and under-cover parking was safe. So, excellent holiday and will definitely visit again.

Excellent attention, Sheri was always helping us, the apartment is huge, clean and comfortable, the view was amazing, the place ideal... we went walking to the beach every day... the kids enjoyed very much. We definitely will be back. Thank you!

The family and I had a great time and the venue was perfect. The only thing that was not so great was the parking as it is very small for a SUV, but all-in-all it is a great place to stay.

What a beautiful place, and so spacious. Will definitely recommend this stay. Close to the beach with beautiful views of the sea. You can really just sit and relax.

Great! You only need food and drinks; the rest is all there. The house is clean, the verandah is spectacular and the apartment's owner and her staff are most kind. We'll recommend the place to our friends and we'll certainly be back.

We had a Lovely stay at the Lazy Lizard. The place was absolutely stunning and so spacious. The beach was directly across the road. Waking up in the morning to the fresh smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves was such a refreshing feeling. The kitchen was fully-equipped so we felt at home making our own meals. The shops are all within walking distance and the people are so friendly. One of the things we loved the most was having breakfast and supper on the huge balcony with the cool sea breeze. Even though we were only there for a weekend, it was worth every cent. I will definitely be going back soon. The owner, Shari, was so accommodating and she made sure everything was perfect when we arrived. I rate Lazy Lizard 10/10. Its the perfect place for a family vacation!

We are currently Holiday Club members and couldn't get accommodation. I also have small children and was worried to find something that would be comfortable. I took a chance and booked at the Lazy Lizard. To my surprise it was exactly what we wanted and needed. It was spacious, tidy and close to the sea.

The apartment was the best choice we could have made. It was so spacious, totally comfortable, with the best view we could have wished for. My kids and I had a wonderful week thanks to the friendly, accommodating owner, Shari. The kids loved the easy access to the beach and I felt comfortable watching them from the balcony. Lovely apartment with great views. Owner Shari was so very accommodating and such a warm and friendly person. We had a fabulous stay- would stay again gladly.

The apartment was excellent. Comfortable and well furnished. The building is up market and the area is safe. Lots of residents walking around all times of day especially early in morning and late at night. Our kids loved the easy access to the beach. We could see them from the balcony of the apartment.

We recently spend a week end at Lazy lizard inn Umdloti .This has been our second time and definitely wont be the last. Extraodinary sea views, spacious living area as well as bedrooms . A great time was held by all . I highly recommend the place to any one .

Lazy Lizard provided superb accommodation and turned out to be value for money because it exceeded our expectations. The hosts are kind and went out of their way to ensure that we were settled and comfortable. The flat is very spacious with an amazing balcony. I do not think the pictures on the website really portray how lovely the place is. Very safe location and child friendly. We plan to go back. Rose
