Received a great welcome. Our room although a tad smaller than expected was comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was lovely, delicious and made to order. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the views due to the bad weather in Durban during our stay. Would have loved to have a fridge in the room though. Other than that, we had a great stay.
P.S. It has a rather steep driveway

The host, Nigel was very accommodating and made us feel at home. I would recommend Avalon Guest House, our room was clean and we enjoyed our stay!

My son and I had a "garden" room and were there for six nights. We had a very relaxing holiday. Nigel and Shereen took very good care of us. We would definitely recommend it or stay there again!

We had a really great time at Avalon Guesthouse. We felt like we were home. Thank you Nigel, Shereen and Lee for the warm welcome and for accommodating us. The treatment we got was like we were in a 5 Star guest house. If you want to be treated like kings and queens, Avalon Guesthouse is the place to be.
