Our stay at Vrede was awesome. We will recommend it to all our friends and family.

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at Vrede for four nights. The facilities leave nothing to be desired: The setting is peaceful and beautiful: Accessibility to shops, places of interest/activities/airport excellent, and of course Maggie, the hostess, was very welcoming and tended to our every need in a very professional yet personal and friendly manner. Vrede will be our port of call for every visit to the area in the future.

Vrede Self-catering provided us with the perfect base for our four-night stay - located in a wonderful eco-estate with an amazing view of False Bay. The accommodation is new and spotlessly clean with every facility on hand for an easy self-cater. Location of Vrede is such that we had easy and close access to Somerset West. Highly recommended.

If you ever need accommodation please do yourself a favour and stay at Vrede - you will never ever be sorry. In all the years we have stayed somewhere this was just the ultimate of best treatment and the flat is awesome with all the perfect touches and care has been taken to all the small details. Maggy is just the best.

This is easily the best establishment we've ever stayed at. The owner is the friendliest host and nothing is spared to ensure guests have a 5 star experience when staying at Vrede. The spacious flat is fitted with anything you can think of to make your stay as luxurious and comfortable as possible. You can also enjoy walks on the tranquil estate with the most beautiful views. I will recommend Vrede as the most serene and luxurious self-catering experience, still close to amenities and shops.

What an awesome place with awesome view form the house. The environment is safe and secured. It felt like home away from home. The hostess - Maggie you are a wonderful person, a people's person. 5 Star service and facilities, combined with a fantastic location.

Ek en my vrou het 'n heerlike naweek by Vrede gehad. Dit is stylvol, skoon, pragtige natuurskoon en waarde vir geld! Sal dit vir almal aanbeveel wat 'n bietjie wil wegbreek. My wife and I had a wonderful weekend at Vrede. It was stylish, clean, had beautiful surroundings and was value for money! Will recommend to anyone wanting to break away for a while.

We have been to many self-catering establishments in the past few years on a regular basis throughout SA, but Vrede has surpassed all our expectations. It was difficult to describe or provide comments on our stay there, but I can undoubtedly state it in the following words: 'What is better than perfection'. Maggie, you are a star and went out of your way to make our stay a memorable experience that we will not easily forget.

The stay was peaceful,upmarket and stylish. Maggie is stunning and we would love to return soon.

There was more than enough of everything, great security and the view was awesome! Pity it was so cold in Cape Town, otherwise I am sure we would have made use of the loverly swimming pool! Maggie was such a great hostess and made us feel very at home. She also went out of her way to make sure that there were little extras, even things for our kids! We will definitely stay at Vrede when we visit Cape Town again!!!

The house itself is out-of-a-magazine stunning, the views of the city and Cape Point are breathtaking, Boskloof is a safe neighborhood for walks, and it's convenient to all the shops of Somerset West. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We'll be back, and we'll tell our friends. There's none better!

Overall we had a splendid time and look forward to returning soon. The hostess was very hospitable and her attention to detail is excellent.

This will always be our place to stay when we visit Cape Town in the near future. We could not ask for a better place to stay with our two young children and attending a family wedding. The safety, the environment and the help Maggie provided us - were of the highest standard we ever experienced.
