Excellent value-for-money weekend break

Aan de Doorns was the perfect venue for a training weekend for a group of friends and their families. Marita went out of her way to provide us with everything we needed, and was extremely flexible. It really was an extremely good value-for-money weekend.

Aan de Doorns Guesthouse
Aan de Doorns is a historical Cape Dutch farmstead with spacious art-and-antiquity appointed en-suite bedrooms. For families we have two semi self-catering family units and enough parking for water sport enthusiasts.

We serve a full English or a continental breakfast, your choice, in the ambience of true heritage hospitality with preserves and bread from the local community. Breakfast is served from 7:30 until 9:00, Monday to Saturday, and 8:00 until 9:30 on Sunday.

In summer, the patio, gardens and pool area surrounding the homestead are ideal for relaxation under the ancient pepper trees; enjoy wine-filled sundowners. Our location offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains - Stettyns Mountain, Du Toitskloof, Hex River Mountains, Keerom, Langeberg - vineyards and spectacular sunsets. The winter is for romantics and those that enjoy a glass of good locally produced wine next to a log fire in the cozy reading room.

We are small enough to care and big enough understand the dedication it takes to turn a pleasant stay into a memorable experience. Come share in the tradition of tranquil farm living that will evoke memories of bygone years and carefree childhoods, that we call heritage hospitality.
