This was a very relaxing lodge to stay. Hospitality of Anchors was refreshing for a change. Shops, entertainment etc close by. Will recommend this place to any one. Enjoyed our stay there.

I enjoyed, liked the view and everything most of all the breakfast in the morning. I would recommend it next time.

We were very disappointed! The steep inclined driveway was dangerous and should be mentioned, as I suffered a recent foot injury and really battled. The room was very small and we felt that we had no privacy.

I just want to thank Ailleen from the Achor Guest Lodge for a superb holiday experience. I will always go back there and also recommend this guest lodge to everybody that crosses my path as this is out of the world experience and she made it home away from home for us.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and the breakfast fabulous! We were so glad to find air-conditioning in our room and the chairs and table outside the room on the balcony was fabulous! Loved your lodge and will be back!

My family and I would like to express the best time we had at Anchors Guest Lodge. We really enjoyed our stay. The people there are friendly. Many thanks to Ailleen, Richard and Pricilla for making us welcome. We are definitely coming back to Durban next year and anchors will be our second home again. I did not feel like I was living in a guest lodge, it felt like home. God bless all the staff at anchors, until we meet again.

Very enjoyable, my husband and i were there for 3 nights, it was comfortable, efficient hosts and great breakfast. The rooms are well looked after and every morning we had clean towels and the room is great order. Ailleen was so friendly and very helpful, they got up early to cook breakfast and made our stay very enjoyable.

Had a wonderful time its a homely environment conducive for relaxing and the hosts are warm and caring.

This is the second time we have stayed at Anchor's and the experience was just as good. Clean, functional and very comfortable, it rates well above most of the other similar accommodation we have used around SA. Well positioned for access to the major points of interest in and around Durban. Friendly and extremely helpful hosts where nothing is too much trouble. A definite for my next visit to the Natal South Coast.

The whole setup was quick and efficient and everyone there was so kind and friendly. Our hosts were outstanding and always willing to help and asked to our well being everyday. What I really appreciated was the way that they have thought of everything! Normally when you make use of self catering units it is the bare minimum but this was different. It is the little things that make a difference. Our unit was cleaned everyday, fresh towels etc. They even though of dishcloths, toilet spray, matches and all those things that you normally forget to pack if you travel. Great thanks as well for the camping cot for my baby. The surrounding and sea view was relaxing and it is nice to see a unit so clean, neat and well looked after.

The friendliness and hospitality of the staff was awesome. They really went the extra mile. Love their honesty bar concept.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. We felt very welcomed. We were very comfortable in our room - room was clean and tidy and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and patio area. We will definitely recommend Anchors Guest Lodge to our friends. Thanks Aileen, it was great staying there!

My trip was actual nice. I was delay by 1 hour at the airport and when I arrived in Durban took 1 hour to do our stuff and we arrived at Anchor Lodge and they were still waiting for us. Not only that but they also called us twice asking if we were Ok.

I had an enjoyable stay at Anchors. The service was superb. I had nice braai with friends, too.

The friendly unreserved hospitality was really exceptional! We were not only made to feel at home but the "home" was literally "given" to us to enjoy as our own with all the facilities made available. A lovely bowl of fruit in the bedroom and the fantastic breakfast was really fantastic!! We will most certainly recommend Anchor's Lodge to all our friends and acquaintances. My husband and I, together with our 4 kids had a lovely relaxing time at Anchors! We found staff & Mngmt to be courteous and warm & views lovely! They leave you to enjoy yourself and not get in your way, making you feel like you own the place! We have started recommending them to our friends.

My family and friends enjoyed the 2 night stay. The place is nice in a quite area with beautiful sea views. The mornings and evenings are beautiful. The service and hospitality from the staff is number one. It's a home away from home.

The place is very beautiful and very attractive. We enjoyed the view of the ocean especially in the morning . The owners were so kind and very friendly, they treated us like royalty. We are definitely going back there and will refer all our friends and family to the lodge.

The service was excellent, we got a warm welcome, and breakfast was excellent. We got fresh fruits in our room everyday, great ocean view, really the best lodging I've ever experienced. The pool is beautiful, we had the best time. I would definitely book my next holiday there. Good job guys, 2 thumbs up!!!!!!!

Our experience at Anchors Guest Lodge was one of our best holidays ever. The lodge is situated is a quiet and tranquil location which was exactly what we were looking for. The hospitality we received from all at Anchors Guest Lodge was amazing and we all felt like it was home. We will definitely be booking our next holiday break at Anchors Guests Lodge and we will most definitely recommend staying here to all our friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The people are very friendly. I did make one sugesstion to them, to please get hairdryers in their rooms. We went by bike and the space is limited. We will stay there again if we go that side again.

Anchors Guest House is very new, but the owners have already mastered the art of making one feel welcome and to offer a professional service. The self catering unit is spacious and well laid out. We enjoyed our relaxed stay and will definitely recommend this establishment to our contacts.
