It was the last two nights of our honeymoon and we couldn't ask for a better place to end it off. Awesome room and very central to shops and other attractions in Durban. Definitely recommended!

Pleasant host, beautiful Herbert Baker house and renovation. With the lights out the room was as bright as day due to the security lights and inadequate i.e. non-blackout) curtains. My host advised me I was the first to complain - as if I was somehow unusual to enjoy sleeping in a dark room. Breakfast was adequate but somewhat spartan. Splendid brand new room. Slept very well after hanging a blanket over the window!

We had a great time at '164 Boutique Guesthouse' : rooms are beautifully decorated, with great taste. The Boutique Guesthouse is very well located in Durban, in a residential area.
