This property rose way above our expectations. Everything in the room was of first class quality and the attention to detail was impressive. Would recommend to all.

We enjoyed our anniversary weekend @ Clarens Country House (OUHOUT SUITE)! What a nice place! Our host, Toni, was very helpful and thought of every little detail - from sherry on arrival, candles in the bathroom, earl grey tea and "moerkoffie" & rusks in the kitchen, milk in the fridge ... to ... a hairdryer, very clean "spierwit" towels, sjampoo and lotions! Rooms are spacious and clean, bedding white and 100% cotton, good quality beds! Oom Schalk se stoep - nice for relaxing with a book or enjoying the view of the golf estate and Clarens town. Very relaxed weekend! Excellent customer care and friendly host and staff. Our batteries are recharged! We will definitely visit again soon and will recommend to everyone!

My husband and I spent a lovely three days in Clarens. The Clarens Country House was perfect and clean with good bed linen, heaters, electric blankets, etc. Everything was just perfect for our needs. Our room was nicely appointed and the hospitality extended by Toni and Peter was excellent. They made sure we had everything we needed, in fact, Toni even made a booking at the restaurant where we were intending to have a celebration dinner. We will be back!

We had an amazing time here from 28-31 July. We decided to spend my birthday weekend in Clarens, and this was the best choice in accommodation. Toni and her husband arranged a discount for us in restaurants as well as for spa treatments. The suite we stayed in was beautiful, and we appreciated the electric blanket and heaters everywhere around the house. We could not tell it was below freezing point outside as we were so cozy and warm inside.

We had a very comfortable stay – everything was perfect and we will thoroughly recommend Clarens Country House.

We stayed in the Shepard's Loft at the Clarens Country House. As soon as we entered the door, my wife and I fell in love with the place! Very cosy and neat! The Shepard's Loft is very private, with it's own entrance and private parking! Toni seems to know everyone, and organised us discounts and coupons at the local establishments! We received a huge discount at the golf course! We really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend The Clarens Country House to anyone!

Toni really added special touches to her house. Little things like Earl Grey tea, fresh herbs given to us to help with our evening meal and a comfortable bed. Made our stay special. Thanks.
