Downderry

Downderry is a self-catering cottage situated in Haga Haga on the beautiful Eastern Cape Wild Coast of South Africa. The elevated house is right on the ocean, looking onto the horizon.

There is a main house and an adjoining double-storey flat which has a steep staircase to the top room and bathroom. The main house has three bedrooms; a master bedroom with twin beds and two bedrooms with three single beds each. The adjoining flat has two bedrooms, both with twin beds. There is one bathroom in the main house and the other is in the flat. All bedrooms are equipped with duvets, pillows, blankets, linen, towels, dishtowels and cloths.

There is a dining room in the main house which leads onto a lovely patio overlooking the ocean where there is a Weber, a braai, and a gas open-dish cooker. The kitchen is well equipped and from here one can watch the dolphins going past while cooking.

The comfortable lounge has large windows and leads onto a veranda. We have a colour TV and a DStv dish and decoder. There is one garage and open parking available. There is a caretaker who services the house regularly and offers babysitting services, ironing and washing services as well. These services are free of charge. Pets are allowed, as long as they are well behaved and do not soil or damage the cottage.
