The Horse Shoe Motel boasts a delightful a’la carte restaurant and a traditional English breakfast second to none. We are also famous for our top-notch lunches and ladies bar.

Guests are welcome to take a dip in our large swimming pool, while enjoying a refreshing beverage or a typical Northern Cape barbecue under the lapa. We ensure our guests a pleasant stay and our rooms feature air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms with either a bath or a shower, and a TV with M-Net. Laundry and room services can be provided, and safe undercover parking is also available.

Horse Shoe Motel is located within walking distance from the newly built Diamond Pavilion Mall and is 10 minutes from the Kimberley Big Hole. The motel is undoubtedly the most favourite stop for travellers visiting the Diamond City. With over 7,000 successful weddings, conferences and company functions, as well as rooms equipped with wireless Internet connections, there is no comparison to the diversity of this landmark of Kimberley.

It was a convenient stop-over en route to Cape Town from Johannesburg. Unfortunately there were a number of functions that evening. We could not park our vehicle in front of our room and the music was so loud in the room right across from us, that we could hardly sleep. We were worried about our parked car with such a lot of people milling around. We will definitely explore other options in future.

We stayed there overnight on a trip from Cape Town to Johannesburg. In short we will not stay there again as the little things made us feel that it was not good value for money - We booked two rooms as the website said there were only two beds in each room. On arrival we found that both rooms had 4 beds. We stayed in one but no discount was offered. The cleanliness was questionable, the TV didn't work and the breakfast was not great - overall poor

We were made welcome as soon as we arrived. The Restaurant and Deon the waiter went out of their way to make us feel at home. Even though we were given single beds, the room was still amazing but it was just a pity that our motorbike did not have undercover parking. Thanks, so much Ian and Marie Allman
