Great Brak River is positioned between George and Mossel Bay, making it a perfect stop from which to explore the Garden Route. It is surrounded by beaches, mountains, rivers, indigenous forests, a lagoon and a remarkable richness of fynbos species. Activities in the area include donkey cart trips, angling, canoeing, cycling, surfing and whale watching from July to November. There are fantastic hiking trails in the Outeniqua Mountains, ranging in distance and difficulty.
