This was definitely one of the nicest guest houses I have ever stayed at. The staff were friendly, interested and not intrusive. The accommodation offered some of the best bells and whistles, from an iPod docking station, to a personal Bosch fireplace and Nespresso machine. The breakfast offering was sumptuous and divine, full of personal touches from self-made preserves to the blended juice of the day by Victor. The key items for me in a review are the quality of the bed, and the shower, because if those are good , I'm happy. The room was spacious and clean. Everything was well equipped. It was exactly what we had expected. The breakfast was absolutely great. It's worthy to visit.
We stayed at Fransvliet for two nights, but after arriving wish we'd booked in more time. It was set in a peaceful setting, looking out on a fragrant garden over the vineyards. The room was wonderful luxury, and we had fun with the wood burning stove and enjoyed the huge bathroom with giant shower and bath.Vicky helped us plan our days, and Vic's wife made the best breakfast of our whole 2 week trip in SA.We would love to come back and recommend it to anyone.Thank you for making us so welcome and for such a relaxing but fun-packed couple of days.
Great hospitality. Clean and comfy room with great attention to detail, making our stay all the better. The kids loved it too, especially the pool and pancakes for breakfast! Highly recommend to all.
My friend and I spent a very comfortable two nights at Fransvliet. The accommodation is really very good - super beds, pillows (so important) and linen all first class and the bathroom is a dream - so spacious. Nice touch to have an alarm on the room. The owner and staff are charming and helpful. We will definitely go back.
