Main beach not good

We didn't like Hibberdene main beach at all, but nearby Umzumbi is a very nice, blue flag, clean beach with a nice tidal pool ideal for small children as well as a nice strecth of beach just off that with lovely rock pools. Clean and it felt safe. You need to pack your own snacks and food though as there isn't a shop to buy within walking distance from the beach.
