We are situated on the South Bank of the Umzimkulu River which flows through the town of Port Shepstone. We have five self contained units with 3 to 4 beds and all units open out onto a grass bank right on the edge of the river.
Each unit has its own verandah and braai area or visitors may picnic anywhere on the river banks.
Fishing from the bank is good with salmon, bream, perch and grunter or we can take you out fishing in our ski boat where good catches of yellowtail, salmon, rock cod and many more species are easily boated. The famous Sandpit is at the mouth of the river ...

The famous Sandpit is at the mouth of the river and easily accessible by boat launched at our river site. This is also a great spot for shad in season.
The sardine run in June / July is a special experience. If fishing is not your bag we can take you on a sea safari to spot the dolphins, turtles or even whales in season. Easy launch site allows you to bring your own boat.
We have a barge cruises on the river are a special treat. Sunset booze cruises can be arranged. We have a restaurant a few hundred metres up the river with a gorgeous deck overlooking the river and access is by road or by river barge.
Wake to the sound of our resident fish eagles as well as many other birds and small animals such as the tree hyrax and the leguans.
