Set in 60 hectares of pristine bush, within the Jock of the Bushveld Conservancy, umSisi House is strategically located in the Peebles Valley between the town of White River and the Numbi Gate entrance to the southern Kruger Park 15 minutes away. umSisi House is the perfect destination for groups of friends and family wishing to visit South Africa’s Kruger Lowveld region, the Panorama Route and enjoy the many adventure activities available in the immediate area.

The house only caters for private groups between 4 and 10 people on either a bed and breakfast basis, dinner, bed and breakfast basis or a full board all inclusive basis. It is particularly suitable for those looking for luxury accommodation near the Kruger Park.

With panoramic views of Legogote Mountain and the African village of Masoyi, guests enjoy beautiful gardens, majestic trees, abundant birdlife, walking trails, a relaxing Jacuzzi, inviting swimming pool, enormous veranda, stunning interiors, extensive library, computer room with internet access and state-of-the-art TV Room when at home.

A booking service for local activities including bespoke Kruger safaris in open game-viewers is also provided. All meals are planned with guests in advance to ensure that the dining experience is a daily highlight. The Lucky Bean Kids’ Club at umSisi House welcomes children of all ages. Family: We have created the ‘Lucky Bean Kids’ Club’ and welcome children of all ages. Any kids staying at umSisi House will be delighted to find that a whole host of kid-friendly ‘stuff’ is available to keep them occupied when ‘at home’.

Food & Gastronomy: umSisi House offers bespoke menus chosen by the guests themselves to ensure that all meals are to everyone’s liking. Our delicious home-cooked food features local seasonal produce much of which is grown in our kitchen garden.

Great Outdoors: With access to our own hiking trails, the Panorama Route and all of the adventure activities on offer in the Kruger Lowveld area guests at umSisi House will not be disappointed.

Wedding Venues: We will gladly oversee all of the logistics to ensure a memorable day but require the house to be booked for a full three days and payment of our handling charge upon presentation.

Business Traveller: We offer internet access in the media room with a laptop, printer and Skype phone for your personal use. The umSisi administration office further offers a fax machine and scanner for use as required.

Disabled Friendly: There is a wheelchair ramp from the parking area to the veranda from which point there are no steps to encounter at all.

Outstanding Views: umSisi House offers guests panoramic views of their immediate surroundings. To the south is Legogote, to the west beautiful rock gardens, to the north rolling farmland while to the east an African village creeps down the valley.

umSisi House caters for private groups from 4 to 10 people on a bed and breakfast basis. Dinner, bed and breakfast and full board rates are available upon request. Accommodation consists of a master bedroom suite with en-suite bathroom and dressing room, a second bedroom with en-suite bathroom that can either be made up as two singles or one king-size and a third bedroom with en-suite bathroom that can either be made up as two singles or one king-size bed. For larger groups, umSisi House can be used together with umSisi Cottage to accommodate up to 10 people. umSisi Cottage offers a further two bedrooms sharing a double shower room. Additional guests staying in the cottage will be charged a rate of R770 per person per night. All guests have full access to facilities offered at the house. Please contact umSisi House for a quotation for groups over six in size. Discounts are offered for children and stays of 7 nights or longer. Low Season 2012: 2 January to 30 March, 16 April to 6 July and 3 September to 7 December. Bed and Breakfast rate includes breakfast, complimentary fruit, fruit cordials, internet access, activity booking service and laundry. Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rate includes dinner, breakfast, all local drinks, alcoholic and non from 5pm onwards, complimentary fruit, fruit cordials, internet access, activity booking service and laundry.
