A bit about this place
This splendid 1820's National Monument, restored by owners Peter and Belinda Tudge, offers country home comfort and personal service. Seven charming guest rooms, including two family suites, are indiviually furnished and fully ensuite with TV, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities.
Guests can relax in the cosy Yellowwood pub, comfortable lounge/library and delightful restaurant, featured in 'Reflections of the South African Table'.
Since opening in 1991 many guests have returned to the convivial atmosphere of The Cock House including President Nelson andela!
Centrally located to explore historic Grahamstown, South Africa's Festival City, a variety of tours is available through Belinda, a qualified Satour tour guide. The Tudges' look forward to welcoming you.
