Sustainable solar panels generate power for underfloor heating and a back-up generator for hot water ensure guests will have a comfortable stay on the mountain during cold night.

It is important to arrive at the Simien Lodge before the park closes and travellers will need to pay a park fee. An shuttle service offered by the lodge operates between Gonder Airport and can be arranged in advance of travel at additional cost. Onsite parking is also available.
