Beyond the natural beauty of the estate’s fauna and flora, the most awe-inspiring element of Sandcastle is the architectural character of the property. The Villa was designed to imitate the land and boundless seascape; it holds the same innate, organic charisma. The estate’s turrets, reaching through and beyond the double-volume ceilings, invoke a surreal reflection of a termite mound, or a loosely-formed sandcastle. The 250 hectare land surrounding the villa is a wildlife conservancy, teaming with zebra, giraffe, sable and antelope indigenous to the area. The reserve is also home to smaller mammals, such as the Cape Yellow mongoose, civet and genet.

The Villa in this remote and tranquil escape for up to eight guests offers four king-size bedrooms each with an en-suite and spectacular ocean view.

Three of the bedrooms can be arranged as either two three-quarter beds or one emperor size bed, depending on the desired requirements.

East London Airport is the closest major, airport offering daily commercial flights to and from all major South African cities such as Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. At the airport, you can hire a car from one of the major rental companies. The Villa is approximately one hour from the airport.
