Facilities

Pungwe Bush Camp is situated in the southern portion of the Manyeleti Game Reserve, along the Pungwe River course and is known for its exclusivity and rustic ambience. Manyeleti forms part of the greater Kruger National Park.

The unfenced camp consists of 4 Luxury 'Out of Africa type' en-suite tented units sleeping a total of 8 guests only. Rooms are uniquely positioned, to enhance this great bush experience.

Early morning bush walks and late afternoon game drives in open Land Rovers will take you deep into the heart of the bushveld to view the African wildlife in there natural habitat. Our speciality bush walks where you can experience the true essence of Africa is a must for everyone.

At Pungwe Bush Camp all our meals are included and we pride ourselves on our 'Home Cooked' meals, with certain mouth watering dishes still prepared on the open fire.

We had a brilliant time during our twioo night stay. We were made to feel very welcome and everyone in the team tried to ensure that the guests saw as many animals as possible. Food is great too.

My wife and I enjoyed the stay, the facilities were good, game drives excellent, managed to see the big five. Cilla and Loot made us feel at home. Definitely recommended, just be aware that there is no electricity, take extra batteries for cameras.

Lovely, no fuss bush experience. Great staff ! Felt safe and looked after at all times. Nice, spacious, clean and private accommodation.

Great outdoors in an extremely friendly environment. Small camp (max 8 guests), very cosy, extremely close to nature, very comfortable and the owners know what hospitality really means. The morning walks and even more the evening drives were spectacular: during our 4 night stay we only saw 4 other vehicles (one 1 evening), but a lot of game (every day): can't remember how many times we saw the 'big 5'. Good laughs with the owners around the camp fire (while an elephant was looking at us). We are already planning to go back (and it is not in our nature to go twice to the same spot).

Far away from everything, and has no electricity, the day we arrived it was raining so it was not really easy to get there, and not being able to get a hot shower.... but the place is really characteristic and the lady is extremely friendly with everyone.

All 4 luxurious rooms have got white canvas sides with thatched roofs. The build-on en-suite bathroom consist of a hot and cold water shower, washbasin, a king sized bath and flush toilet. The rooms have got spacious queen sized beds(sgl beds could be added for children), rustic wardrobes,easy chairs and a tea and coffee station. Each room has a small veranda from which guests can relax while bird watching or just absorbing the true essence of the bush.
