Hosts Tracy and Paul are so incredibly friendly and helpful. It adds real value to a stay at Numbela. Cheerful and helpful staff and great natural surroundings help make Numbela a true escape to nature. Millions of butterflies! Rain can be the only dampener to a great time in this rustic lodge!

I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation!
Since we arrived a bit late on Saturday night due to rainy conditions on the road and subsequent slow traffic, we were received by the night staff/guards. It was from the onset evident that the guard (George) and his team went out of their way to accommodate us in these very wet conditions with an unexpected power failure at the farm. We were even upgraded to the other cottage without any additional costs and well looked after.

Paradise on the edge of Kruger -

A wonderful slice of calm and beauty close to the Numbi Gate in Kruger. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Simply awesome.

Description
Numbela is small, but beautifully formed. Each cottage is fully detached, self contained and private. The cottages and the owner's house are contained within 7 acres of garden alongside the river. Beyond the garden,the rest of the property, some 200 acres of wetlands, woodland and bush, much of it alongside the river, is available for exploration.
River and Yellowwood cottages are available for either Bed and Breakfast or self-catering accommodation, but the Tin House is self catering only. We don't serve dinner (although if you are arriving late, let us know and we will prepare a li... Numbela is small, but beautifully formed. Each cottage is fully detached, self contained and private.
