Perched on the Alverstone hill with panoramic views of the Assagay Valley is an African style lodge set in log and stone offering serenity, relaxation and warm hospitality. An avenue of grand old trees welcomes you by laying down a carpet of golden autumn leaves with the changing of the seasons. Set on four acres of beautiful indigenous garden, Kangelani Lodge is towered by giant Aloes reaching into the African sky.

All bedrooms have their own private bathrooms and separate entrances. Outside entertainment area with pool, a boma fire for those chilly nights and enjoy private dining in the underground Cellar. Kangelani Lodge is the perfect setting for small garden weddings and conferences.

Kangelani Lodge is conveniently situated with easy access to the M13 an N3 freeways. We are only 20 minutes from Durban, 30 minutes from PMB and only five minutes from Central Hillcrest for all amenities and great dining. This ideal location makes Kangelani Lodge a perfect getaway or business stopover.
