About Equator Village
Equator Village is nestled in a sleepy corner of the island about 1km away from the Gan airport, it is called the Equator Village because it is situated on one of the rare Maldivian resorts lying south of the Zero Degree Latitude. Only 25 metres away from the resort is a flourishing house reef, ready for exploratory snorkellers. The resort also has a professionally managed diving base.## LocationTransfer time between the airport and the resort is about 1 and half hours by air. Transfers to the Gan Island is made by a 25 seater domestic flight and then around 10 minutes by a Van.## RoomsThe Equator Village has bungalows with 78 rooms, all nestled around a lovely garden courtyard with beautiful flowering shrubs. All rooms are spacious with an outside sitting area, and equipped with air-conditioners, refrigerators, and hot and cold showers. The rates INCLUDE the COMPULSORY round way domestic flight transfers to the hotel. To confirm transfers please provide your flight details on your reservation comments OR contact your Client Relationship Centre OR send it directly to the resort at (reservation@equatorvillage.com.mv
) at least 7 days prior to the arrival. For last minute bookings; flight details should be sent with the booking details. If the flight details are not reported/notified 24 hours prior to your arrival to Maldives, the resort may not be able to provide your combined transfer upon arrival.
Domestic flight arrival / departure transfers are not guaranteed from 10:30pm till 9:00am next day morning. Clients are required to book their international flights and hotel bookings accordingly or stay in Malé city on their own cost when there are no transfers available. see more
