We enjoyed the stillness of the lodge and the lonely beach. Marietjie and her staff were all lovely and very helpful. This is a perfect place for a business breakaway, as well as a romantic weekend.

We enjoyed every minute of it. Even my 85 year old Mum was thrilled by the experience. She has poor sight. but we were able to have a well lit table for our meals, and she negotiated the board walk down to the beach!
How fantastic to listen to the sounds of the Atlantic from our lodge, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area.
We will recommend to our friends!

It was lovely. Meals very good but delivery a little slow so one should order early and give a time for eating. Rooms very good, staff very friendly and obliging, situation glorious. We walked on the never-ending pristine beach and watched dolphins frolicking in the waves.

If you wish you can have all your breakfasts, afternoon teas and dinners in the cosy restaurant or on the outdoor terrace while enjoying the exquisite scenery. We cater for small, intimate weddings and functions.
After an exciting day at the Draaihoek Lodge one can relax in the luxurious cottages.
All spacious rooms have king size beds, bathroom en-suite with heated towel rails, lounge area within the bedroom, private open fire place and a private terrace overlooking the dunes of the Atlantic Ocean.
At the Draaihoek Lodge you will not only find luxurious comfort, you will also enjoy delicious meals. We serve full breakfasts, lunches and dinners on the terrace overlooking the dunes or in the cosy restaurant of the manor house.
The chef and her team are looking forward to welcoming you in her restaurant. Some meals may have to be reserved up-front, as the chef insists on preparing as fresh as possible.
