We enjoyed the stillness of the lodge and the lonely beach. Marietjie and her staff were all lovely and very helpful. This is a perfect place for a business breakaway, as well as a romantic weekend.

Excellent.
We enjoyed every minute of it. Even my 85 year old Mum was thrilled by the experience. She has poor sight. but we were able to have a well lit table for our meals, and she negotiated the board walk down to the beach!
How fantastic to listen to the sounds of the Atlantic from our lodge, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area.
We will recommend to our friends!

Draaihoek Lodge is a luxurious 4 star establishment situated on the West Coast south of Elands Bay. Extending a warm welcome to visitors seeking West Coast spring flowers, endless beach walks in the company of seals, whales and dolphins, magnificent sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean, game drives through the reserve, prehistoric rock art or just wanting to relax and be pampered. Accommodation at the Lodge comprises the Manor House with 3 en suite double rooms and 8 luxurious en suite double rooms each in a separate Lodge. All rooms are equipped with standard 4 star amenities. Also on site is a fully licensed restaurant serving gourmet fare complemented by an extensive wine selection - complete with terrace overlooking the dunes of the Atlantic Ocean and a lounge with fire place where guests can linger while enjoying the lodge's hospitality

Spacious bedroom cum lounge with open fire place and king size beds draped with romantic mosquito nets overlooks private patio with views of the dunes. Suites are equipped with mini-fridge, coffee/tea amenities and home baked treats. The en-suite bathroom with over sized shower and heated towel rails also features seperate dressing area. Custom made extra length sleeper couches, to accommodate additional guest or children, are available on request.
