My Romantic weekend Getaway at Chartwell Country Lodge

First and foremost, I would like to Thank Chartwell Country Lodge in particular "Jolie" for the excellent and personalised service we received this weekend. It was the special Man is my life birthday this weekend, Jolie together with the rest of the Chartwell Management & staff made it the most memorable and unforgettable experience ever. Description

Welcome to Chartwell Country Lodge and Ubuhle Nature Spa: The smell of the sweet country air and the aroma of freshly baked scones and roasted coffee beans, all of this and more, just a few minutes from a host of cultural, wildlife and entertainment attractions. Travel from Chartwell in a North-Westerly direction to find history and culture in the form of the Cradle of Humankind, Wonder caves and archeological sites, Maropeng Museum, Lesedi Cultural Village and more. The area is full of wild-life viewing opportunities with elephant, lion and cheetah, crocodile and rhino parks on the doorstep. For a different kind of "wild-life" experience head in a South-Westerly direction for only a few minutes to arrive at the Barnayard Theatre, Fourways shopping mall, Designer Quarter, Cedar Square, Montecasino entertainment and casino complex. Fine restaurants, pubs, theatres, cinemas all abound in the immediate vicinity. The Lodge does transfers to and from major centres including Lanseria airport(12 kms) and O R Tambo(Johannesburg International)(38 kms).
