Welcome to our world – set amongst the mountains of the Klein Karoo, just outside Montagu and only 2 ½ hours drive from Cape Town, you can enjoy a truly African adventure in one of the most serene environments of Southern Africa. Our Lodge comprises six secluded eco-friendly chalets designed for your comfort.

Each chalet has a fully equipped kitchen area. In addition two luxury tented suites are available where comfort is assured.

There are nature drives through a portion of 4,500 hectares of tranquil landscape, encountering various antelope, birds and unique indigenous flora, available at a nominal charge. Our pride and joy is our Cheetah Conservation Project, the star of which is Duma, our tame, two year old, male cheetah. Come and enjoy watching him play rugby and share in the awesome experience of interacting with him, up close and personal. Another fascination is to watch the feeding of our wild cheetahs, Khulu and Thanda, in their enclosure. This is just a small sample of the amazing treasures that African Game Lodge has to offer. Children of all ages are welcome.

Chalets 1-5: These have two bedrooms. The main room has a queen bed, whilst the second room has twin beds. There is a spacious lounge area, a fully equipped kitchenette and a tea and coffee station. The bathroom has a shower over a bath. To capture the magnificent views, enjoy lounging or having a braai on a private patio .

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at the lodge with our 2 teenage boys. It was very relaxing and peaceful, though with plenty to do, such as cycling, fishing, target shooting and horse-riding. We stayed in a self catered chalet which was very comfortable and clean and well-equipped. We also had the opportunity to get 'up close and personal' with the cheetahs. Enjoyable stay

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. The quality of accommodation exceeded our initial expectations. Staff was friendly and helpful. We are however disappointed that an establishment that 'sells' the game farm experience, had relatively few bigger game animals (quantity as well as number of species).

Natalie and Michael are the friendliest and most wonderful hosts and of course Cara and Chi Chi!! The beauty of the place is awesome and the staff are all very sweet. The chalets are so stunningly and tastefully decorated and you have everything that you need. Chris and I will most certainly be back, sooner rather than later. The most beautiful place to go for a break, can't think of anywhere else that equals it. Thank you very much - we loved it!!!!!

Words cannot express enough how wonderful this place is - hospitality, comfort and stupendous setting are all there along with a joyous glimpse of African flora and fauna in the one day and night we were there for and we cannot wait to go back and see and absorb more.
