An amazing place
This place is like a design boutique guest house where we were served breakfast on our balcony each morning overlooking the knysna lagoon. The room was spotless and very well kitted out. The bathroom was huge and full of lovely scented creams and bath soaps/shampoos. Bianca and Ross were very hospitable hosts - would definitely come back again. The location is great too - just a few minutes drive away from the restaurants and islands. A perfect spot to relax in Knysna!

Brilliant.
Bianca and Rossano were great hosts and really friendly and helpful. The room was exactly as the pictures on the web and the views are amazing. Very stylish place , top quality with all amenities. We would definitely go back again.

Our stay at the Villa Afrikana is just unforgettable. It's hard to go to another guest house after this one.. The view is incredible, the design of the place is gorgeous. Definitely a place to stay in Knysna and more generally in South Africa.

With its summery, gleaming white, the geometric architecture of Villa Afrikana is already quite a sight. The stylish interior is just as defined in the same perfect white. A modern, unpretentious interior gives the compact Villa Afrikana a surprisingly open feel to its rooms. Look out for the cleverly placed objects and eye-catching artworks by local artist Neil Nieuwoudt. The Villa encloses 6 suites, specifically designed for panoramic views, spaciousness and comfort. All suites enjoy fantastic views over the Knysna Heads and surrounding Lagoon. Reputably they are some of the most spacious suites in Knysna and the Garden Route with combined sleeping and seating area averaging 32 square meters of living space. Each suite also features a comfortably furnished and very spacious luxury bathroom with under-floor heating and double washbasin. Depending on which suite you reserve, you’ll be resting in a comfortable queen size or even king size double beds. Additionally, the suites hold further revelations such as a hydro massage tub, a private balcony/terrace or a fully equipped kitchenette for instance.
