The Sea Horse Guest House is an upmarket self-catering guest house featuring seven fully equipped and well-appointed self-catering units. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood in Swakopmund, with the beach literally a minute’s walk away, we are ideally located.

All our rooms are comfortably furnished and include a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, two-plate hob, filter coffee machine and kettle, as well as all cutlery and cooking utensils. Two of the Luxury Units on the first floor also offer stunning sunset views over the Atlantic Ocean from sea-facing balconies, while a third unit offers a partial view of the ocean from the windows.

Secure parking is provided and breakfast can be arranged on prior notice. In addition, we can arrange airport transfers to and from Swakopmund and Walvis Bay airports. Nearby activities include quad biking on the dunes, horse riding, walking, bird-watching, scenic flights, aerobatic flights, go-karting, and dolphin and seal cruises.

Clean and functional apartment. Helpful receptionist when needing additional towels. Attention needed re lighting - a few bulbs not working around apartment. A great location near the beach. No cupboard space for self catering, although well equipped kitchen! All food had to be kept on the table! Would certainly visit again

Clean sheets, towels and a great shower are a must for me. Two thumbs up for the linen, but the shower needs more pressure. The kitchen is very basically stocked but adequate. The TV is wall mounted in a position which defies viewing from most parts of the room. Nice view of the ocean from the balcony and secure parking for the car. I didn't try the breakfast on offer. Efficient check-in and they accommodated my early check-in request. Expensive for what is offered, I have stayed out of season in a Cape Town Penthouse for the same price.

We have been to swakop over the past ten years on our fishing trips and the best place we have stayed was this year at the sea horse the lady was wonderful and very helpful to our needs. Will recommend this place to all my friends. Thank you sea horse.
