Situated practically in front of the entrance gate to the Namib-Naukluft National Park/Sossusvlei at Sesriem - the area well known for the towering red sand dunes of the Namib Desert and the awe-inspiring depths of the Sesriem Canyon - this new camp site offers luxury facilities in a clean, tidy, and well kept environment.

We offer 12 camping units in the camp site, arranged in a semi-circle to afford privacy and views. Each unit has its own toilet, wash basin, hot/cold shower, kitchen wash-up facility, light, barbecue, and 220V electricity point. Other centralised facilities include a sparkling pool and just a short walk away, a fully stocked shop, take-away meals, groceries, toiletries, drinks, ice, Internet, clothing, curios, fuel, diesel, and Tyre workshop.

The closest restaurant is a mere 500 m away at Sossusvlei Lodge, while fully-equipped self-catering facilities are available at Desert Camp, just 5 km down the road.

Sossus Oasis - What a diamond in the desert!

Our family stayed for two nights in a campervan and absolutely loved the facilities at the campsite. After travelling around Namibia for two weeks it is without doubt the best place we have stayed. The convenience store offered far more than we could have hoped for...we were very impressed with the excellent service of the staff. The activities on offer at the lodge were extremely family friendly and very well planned. I would highly recommend this campsite to any other traveller!

Ons het regtig die kampplek geniet. Elke staanplek is privaat en tog so na aan die natuur. Alles was mooi skoon, veral die kafee by die vulstasie, met vriendelike personeel daarby. We really enjoyed this campsite. Every site is private and so close to nature. Everything was neat and clean, especially the café by the petrol station. Friendly staff as well!

Ons het dit baie geniet by die kamp. Al die staanplekke gee genoeg ruimte niemand is op mekaar nie. Die jakkalse het ons saans besoek en om die tent gesnuffel dit was vir die kinders 'n fantastiese ervaring hier in die middel van die natuur. Ons was by die ingang van Sossusvlei en het dit geniet tussen die duine en ook die Canyon. Die personeel was almal baie vriendelik, alles was netjies en skoon. Daardie draairoomyse by die winkeltjie was uit die boonste rakke! Ons kom beslis weer!!! ... more
