A nice place to rest your head
Sand Forest Lodge is well situated for the wealth of activities in and around Hluhluwe. Cary and Godfrey were very good hosts and rather helpful with information about the area.
The accommodation was tidy and comfortable and had most of the necessary amenities. I would suggest guests take their own large pot (the cottage provided 2 small-medium sized pots).
We loved the braai area and enjoyed an open fire every night under the moonlit african sky.

Wonderful Place
Our stay was really enjoyable. The hosts were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the natural beauty of the area. We spent much of our time outside enjoying the birds and local wildlife including a group of raucous bush babies. The rooms were clean, safe, and comfortable. Overall, it was a marvellous experience.
