Description

Periwinkle Lodge is part of the Shell Lodges collection. It is situated on Beachyhead Drive in Plettenberg Bay and it is across the road from Robberg Beach, which offers safe swimming. The lodge is on three levels offering very good views of the Robberg Peninsula, the Tsitsikamma Mountains and the sea.

Each room is individually decorated and comprises tea and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge, heated towel rails and a hairdryer. All rooms have balconies and sea views. Breakfasts are served at the communal dining room table, with spectacular views of the sea and mountains. Whales can be seen from the establishment between June and October.

Great view from the room, room was very cosy and had everything, with nice colour combinations Breakfast was super and hospitality was outstanding. I would very recommended this accommodation to other guests

Periwinkle Lodge is in an ideal location for access to the town and the beach and the fact that we were able to watch dolphins from our bedroom window. Our stay was made even more perfect thanks to the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff who couldn't have done more to help. I only wish our stay could have been longer!

We had a most enjoyable stay at Perwinkle Lodge. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We saw whales and dolphins from our balcony. Our only regret is that we could only stay for one night.

We were very nervous to begin with staying in a bed and breakfast with an 8 week old baby... However the staff made us feel very welcome and often held our baby Leah whilst we were having breakfast to give us a chance to have a proper meal together!! What wonderful and sincere people, great accommodation with beautiful views (we were also lucky to see 2 whales right outside our window) what an experience!!
