Oasis Eco Camp

This rustic camp is on the shores of Lake Elementaita in Kenya. The camp is designed for nature and outdoor enthusiasts. There are three different accommodation options, some fully catered and one self-catering, meaning that everyone is catered for.

There are three Cottages with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The beds have mosquito nets and balconies with partial views of the lake. The three Walk-in Tents have large beds and modern bathrooms at the back of the tents. There is also a Three-bedroom Self-catering Cottage for those wanting to cater themselves.

The camp provides a serene, quiet and peaceful natural environment, conducive for friends, church- and family retreats, birding enthusiasts, bush and nature lovers, ecologists, bikers and hikers. The camp has a large main building with a seating area and a kitchen for self-catering clients.

The camp is solar powered with a backup generator. Electricity is available during the day so guests can charge their cameras and phones. The camp is an alcohol- and smoke-free area and ideal for a family holiday.

The camp has ample grounds for guests with a play area for the children as well as volley ball and basketball courts. The local hot springs are fantastic for an early morning or later afternoon dip. Guests can enjoy game drives, hiking, biking and beekeeping lessons. The area is lush with wildlife as well as bird life.
