Description

Kleinplaas is situated high on the slopes of Paarl Mountain, in the shadow of Paarl Rock. Luxurious en-suite double rooms with fireplaces open onto a terrace with views over the garden, Berg River Valley, and towering Drakenstein Mountains in the distance.

A private self-catering cottage with fireplace is also available, surrounded by vineyards and forests. Accommodation is set within a farm environment, with peacocks, chicken, and Arabian horses on the property.

Kleinplaas lies in the centre of Paarl, close to historic sites, wine routes and highly acclaimed restaurants. Ideally situated for hiking, mountain biking, and horse-riding can be organised elsewhere. Children are welcome.

Pleasant stay for an overnighter

Very quiet and peaceful setting tucked away in the bush. Basic but comfortable. The toilet seat was broken, needs to be replaced.

Kleinplaas has a rustic charm and quaint furnishings. It is comforting in its simplicity. High on the hill, it makes you feel like you're far away from the hustle and bustle yet is still close to the shops in the town of Paarl. Our host, Narine, her 3 dogs and the beautiful Arabian horses were very welcoming and pleasant. We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Narine for sharing your grounds and making it so comfortable!

Wow! Driving up the steep, winding driveway we arrived at a tuscan/spanish villa in Paarl. But what is that small animal ready to greet us...a meerkat? As we got out of the car this tiny lovely creature approached us in greeting and when we tried stroking its head it clasped our hands in a small hug!
