Adjacent to a breathtaking pine forest with dramatic mountain views, Kleinbosch offers tranquil relaxation for the body, mind and soul. With the comfort of a homely environment and the beauty that is Stellenbosch, we welcome you to our little corner of the world.

We offer five bedrooms, four of which have access to private a terrace. All rooms offer orthopaedic twin or king-size beds and bathrooms with underfloor heating and heated towel rails. We also offer three self-catering cottages with fridges, stoves, microwaves, kettles, coffee machines and satellite TVs. Some rooms also have underfloor heating and open fireplaces for the winter season.

Awaken to a full English breakfast which is served either in our breakfast room or under umbrellas on the patio. You could even try our Bavarian breakfast. On request, we can serve dinner prepared by an award-winning chef, or light a fire and prepare a braai fit for a king.

Kleinbosch Lodge is situated on one of the most popular wine routes in Stellenbosch and it has easy access to golf courses, beaches and the V & A Waterfront. It is only a 20-minute drive from the airport. Relax in our TV lounge and browse through our library of travel literature which explains the many activities which are on offer in the Cape.

The lodge was a perfect spot for our first valentines day together. Hans was very welcoming and generous, in fact he set us up with Vine Hoppers to be collected from the lodge and shown around 6 of the top wine farms. An amazing day, perfect weather, and enough wine to flood a desert. The room was very clean and spacious, plus the bed was extra long which served me well at 6"3'. Breakfast was delicious, lots of coffee and scrambled egg were had. All in all, we will be back soon. If you visit KL be sure to get on the Vine Hoppers tour, especially the stops at Alto and Vredenheim.

We had difficulty finding Kleinbosch Lodge as it's located on a very busy dual carriageway, but having found it we really enjoyed our stay with Hans. He was entertaining and helpful especially in finding and arranging a good wine tasting trip for us. At breakfast each morning he wrote a welcome message to all the guests on a board in the relevant languages. Our accommodation was spacious and a small problem with the televisions was soon sorted.

It has truly been fantastic staying at Kleinbosch. Has is the perfect host and goes out of his way to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The service and food is excellent. Will most certainly be my nr 1 choice in Stellenbosch area.
