Description
Nesled in a valley on the banks of the Berg River in the enchanting Franschhoek Valley, surrounded by vineyards and dramatic mountain views, lies Klein Waterval Riverside Lodge only a short drive from Franschhoek, 20 min from Stellenbosch and Paarl, 50 min from Cape Town International Airport and Cape Town itself.
We currently offer 12 luxurious and comfortable rooms, some of which are thatch. Four of the rooms are facing natural gardens alongside the pool and the rest are just below a small stream looking onto the farm's vineyards.
Klein Waterval's relaxed farm atmosphere provides an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding attractions and landmarks whilst offering much to do on the farm itself. Visit the Cape's most celebrated wine farms, historical villages, popular restaurants and scenic mountain passes.
Swimming and merely relaxing around the pool area or alongside the river after an exhilirating day, enjoying a glass of superb wine on the verandah and watching the sunset is what we often recommend to our guest.
